"The Sussex Mummers' Carol," free mp3

Today's song is also English, "The Sussex Mummers' Carol," sung by me, Lisa Pickel, Ed Norman, and Randy Kloko on the recording Three Log Night.

THE SUSSEX MUMMERS' CAROL (free mp3)

Previous free Christmas downloads:

December 17: The Holly Bears a Berry by the Solstice Assembly
December 16: In the Bleak Midwinter by Joe Newberry and the Buds. (Also for complete list of the songs.)

I "lucked" into your site tonight. The music is beautiful.

I now have a desire to "blog." Can you please tell me how you upload mp3's. I want to include a few clips and blogger really isn't much help. Some help sites say to change format to wma......

Could you please help me.

Most importantly, please do not feel I am using this post to "pimp" info from you. It is nearly 3 am EST. I plan to come back and really go through your blog tomorrow afternoon.

"everyday above ground is a good day" is priceless

I like http://www.blogger.com, where I have my blog. Go there and follow the easy directions and you will have your own free blog.

Posting music is a little harder only because you have to have a
"host" for your music file - blogger doesn't store music clips. My music is stored at my band's website (ie on http://www.mappamundi.com/). There are free music storage sites though - google for them.

I posted my clips as mp3s - have never tried wma but I suppose it would work.

Did you know that you can look at and steal the code for most pages you visit? I use Firefox browser - under the "View" menu is "View Source" - you can copy the "source" coding (which includes the text of the page) and paste it into notepad and save it and look at it in a leisurely way. If you look at the source code for my page, you'll see how I called up the music file.

Let me know if you have more questions, and happy holidays,

As Jude said,
Thanks for sharing this music. We have sung the "The Sussex Mummers Carol" each year, for many years at Northern Revels http://www.revelsnorth.org/.

Thanks,
BoB
