Wish I could be there because I love music and would love to hear you play. However, I am pretty far north of N.C. [We have driven through that lovely state several times on the way to Florida.] What instrument do you play? What kind of music do you play? Susanlynn, musiclover
Susanlynn and everybody else, you MUST purchase the CD, it's simply wonderful! They play "gleeful world music; ethnic music; more-or-less traditional music; folk music; non-mainstream music; roots music." You can listen to some of the songs on the website www.mappamundi.com.
And the bonus, our own Melinama wrote the descriptions for each song. They are, as you might guess, clever and hilarious.
I bought a CD last year and a friend "borrowed" it, refused to return it, so I bought a second.
I would LOVE to come hear the group play but I'm far away on the other side of the U.S. BUMMER!!! But I'm an optimist so maybe someday...
