An excellent new word, found on "Laudator Temporis Acti"

From Dr. Johnson's Dictionary:
Seeksorrow: "One who contrives to give himself vexation."
The whole post is good. I adore Samuel Johnson. He was the man for me.

Thank you for that link, Jane. This Johnson quote (from the site) rings so true for me:

"As any action or posture long continued, will distort and disfigure the limbs; so the mind likewise is crippled and contracted by perpetual application of the same set of ideas."
