The fabulous photos of David Plowden: Vanishing Point

His website is incredibly generous with the photos he took over decades, photos of bridges, trains, rural America... he stopped taking photos two years ago, saying the things he loved to shoot have all vanished.

Absolutely gorgeous. I understand what he is saying because I live in a rural area that is rapidly being developed . The family farms are being sold off and turned into housing developments. It makes me very sad. So far, we have managed to hold on to our family farm , but with the taxes...who knows how long we can hold out. My daughter has taken many photos of our farm over the years. His photographs are truly treasures and chronicles of our land.
