Sarah Palin postcard: a two-dimensional stationary bobblehead doll with oil rig and polar bears
So here it is, the Sarah Palin postcard. I owe to my friend Lenny Hat the concept of "biomorphic art" which I used to design the oil derrick.

he he he, this is really good!
I sure do want one! I can email my address if I have your email.
I love this one. And your site cheers me right up (I'm already cheerful so now I'm dancing around a bit).
great stuff! i recognised that palin eye in the thumbnail. i suppose her running mate is sugar-mccain (or should it be sugar daddy?)
Ditto for seeing the Palin crazyface right from the thumbnail, great job there. Love the slightly surreal oil rig.
oil rigs are so complicated-looking my eye just slides off them. they are byzantine. so i decided to translate all that machinery into doodles.
Great job! Does she look very sugary and clueless?

Scary, clueless, etc. etc. While I'm not for making a buck off of the Palin hype (hopefully she'll go the way of the dodo in a month). I'm currently watching the film "The 11th Hour" and thinking to myself, how could so many ignorant people want to vote for this fool and her running mate (oh wait, it's the other way around, right ?)? In the meantime, great work!
The expressions on the faces of the polar bears are wonderful.
You're on the right track with 2D bobbleheads. Here is one as seen at the McCain-Palin rally in Blaine, MN: http://www.bobblesigns.com/sarahbobble2.jpg
Excellent likeness--the crazy eyes are especially on-point.
Why does the caricature art form fit so darn well?!
You've captured sugary and clueless (and wardrobe); the only thing that didn't come through is that "I'm faking it" stare of sheer intensity.
Gotta say, she is such a smart dresser.
How disturbing...
But I love how I knew it was Palin just from the thumbnail with the one eye. Well done!
