This is from a photo of my mother, who was a researcher at Time, Life Inc. before I was born and later was a researcher for Barbara Tuchman and later than that, went to library school and became a librarian. She died in 1979 and the thought of her still terrifies me.Labels: art

Wow, that's an interesting admission. I do recall you saying recently that your mother (and grandmother?) were alcohol users and in order to save yourself the trouble of drinking alcohol, becoming addicted to alcohol, then going on the wagon, you would just skip the first part and go straight to the last step. Or something like that.
Anyway, you sound like a mom who doesn't terrify her kids.
