Illustration Friday - "Phobia"
I am so disturbed and disgusted by my own actual phobia (caterpillars) that I couldn't paint them. Instead, I painted a phobia I don't share - VERTIGO.

Oh! this is one of your best yet!
I wondered about this. It seemed that people with true phobias wouldn't be able to illustrate them comfortably. Great drawing.

wonderful interpretation
I love the geometric feel. [Looking away now, I'm feeling woozy...]
Great painting!
I wonder: were you attempting to increase the sense of vertigo by making the viewpoint not that of the person whose toes are on the edge? (When I rotated the image to see it from the toes' point of view, as it were, it seemed less dizzy-making to me, though I'm not prone to vertigo.)
Yes, Kimberly! I painted it with the feet at the bottom but realized by accident how much creepier it was this way - cause it makes me feel I'm in the middle of the air looking at the person on the ledge!
