I found that article very upsetting! Since that's David's team, he feels he has the right to enthusiastically boo and insult this player, who carried the team out of the total pits almost singlehandedly seven years ago. I suggest, "that's not very nice, this is probably a very hard time for him," but Baseball fans never listen - they have no pity for their legends.
