Hi Fiddler -- I have been trying to find a fairly literal translation for the phrase "ya tenex d'onde tomar" in the traditional sfardi song "Por que lorax blanca niƱa?"
The translation I have says "you know where you can go", and I seem to remember hearing "you know what you can do to get money", but I don't really feel like I am getting the ladino meaning, especially if it is colloquial.
How do you translate it?
Thanks --
