Back from Paris, where I ate salad, but also chocolate treats for which I must now pay.
It's a hard thing, living in Paris for three weeks: there is a boulangerie on every block, sometimes two or three. You can't walk anywhere without walking by shop windows behind which smiling, kindly shopkeepers offer delicious things. Where perfect crusty fresh-baked baguettes cost a buck. And that's all I'm going to say until I get less jet-lagged.
