Playing the guitar while riding a fancy-stepping house. Ah, sigh. "Amor de los dos."

Enjoy.

Thanks for the Pedro Infante You Tube. It made me wonder if they had dubbing ability in those movies from Mexico's so-called Golden Age. That is, could they insert a recording of his singing and playing guitar into the scene while he lip synched. If it's real, it's quite a feat!

A few years ago I read a very entertaining book called Loving Pedro Infante by Denise Chavez. The protagonist lives in a small New Mexico town with lots of bilingual inhabitants. She and her best friend do Pedro marathons, watching his movies and fantasizing about having a man like him. Great fun!

Very Cool!

I understand that "A Toda Maquina," the Pedro Infante movie that Jaime Camil and What's-his-name parodied on La Fea Mas Bella (remember the singing-while-riding-motorcycles scene?) was finally released on DVD, and subsequently on Netflix... Have you gotten around to watching it?

Hi Novelera and Alma, I wish I had the knowledge you do! Ridiculously, the only Pedro Infante movie I've seen is "Tizoc," in which he plays a simple (as in somewhat daft but in tune with nature, the birds and winds) Indian in love with a big breasted white girl. She dies with arrows in her as he carries her into, or out of, a cave, as I recall.
