Casanova - the movie

A friend and I were going to see Brokeback Mountain last night, but it was full, so we went to see Casanova instead. I'm so glad we did! It's beautiful, funny, well edited, beautifully paced, sweet, romantic, warm-hearted, and un-challenging. Computer graphics have finally succeeded in being able to "edit" cities so they look entirely romantic and lovely even if they are currently crumbling into the sea...

We left laughing and happy.
